Abu Dhabi : EVIS 2025

Middle Bridge recently attended the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit (EVIS) in Abu Dhabi—an international platform dedicated to showcasing the future of electric mobility. As interest in decarbonized transport grows across the Gulf and globally, EVIS offered a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding of the technologies, policies, and collaborations shaping this rapidly evolving sector.

The summit featured a diverse lineup of panels, exhibitions, and technical sessions covering topics such as battery innovation, charging infrastructure, smart mobility, and supply chain resilience. With participation from global manufacturers, regional policymakers, and research institutions, EVIS highlighted how the Gulf is positioning itself as a serious player in the energy transition.

We engaged with discussions on how environmental policy, energy diversification, and urban planning are intersecting in the electric vehicle space. Sessions on region-specific challenges such as charging in high-temperature environments and adapting infrastructure for long-range travel offered particularly valuable insights.

What stood out was the clear momentum behind localized innovation. From pilot projects in Abu Dhabi to national strategies in Saudi Arabia and Oman, the region is moving from ambition to action. We observed how international and local actors are collaborating to adapt global EV technologies to regional realities.

Our participation at EVIS reinforced Middle Bridge’s broader mission: to stay curious, stay informed, and stay close to the frontier of innovation across the markets we study. As electric mobility continues to evolve, so does our understanding of where the real opportunities and challenges may lie.
